Medusa peppers grow upwards, they are long and curved and resemble the snakes of the Gorgon from Greek mythology (hence its name, as you may have guessed).

Description of the Medusa pepper plant

• Strength of the Medusa pepper: between 0 and 100 on the Scoville scale. These rebellious peppers are mild and so cute.
• Color of Medusa peppers: Whether they're green, yellow, or even red, it doesn't matter, devour them according to your preferences!
  
• The Medusa pepper: It's a pepper that measures between 3 and 5 cm (1.2 to 2 inches). Its skin is crispy. The heat of this pepper is strong but largely bearable.
• Production: 1 Medusa plant can produce between 30 and 500 peppers / season.
• Final size of the plant in a 30 cm (12 inch) diameter pot: between 15 cm and 50 cm (6 to 20 inches) tall
• Final size of the plant in open ground: about 50 cm (20 inches)
• Growing temperature for the Medusa pepper plant: 21-30°C (70-86°F)
• Soil type: for planting, the ideal is a potting soil composed of black and blonde peat, if possible 50% of each, no heather soil or universal potting soil as it's too acidic for the pepper plant. You can add a little sand to the mixture to aerate it a bit.
• Harvest date: between June and October.
• Watering: Moderate watering, without flooding the plant, water only when the plant is no longer moist.
• Fertilizer: During the growing and flowering period, we recommend using fertilizer to provide the nutrients necessary for plant growth. We offer a special pepper fertilizer that contains all the nutritional elements necessary for the proper growth of pepper plants.
• Origin of the plant: All our plants come from Alsace, they are grown exclusively for us by a local market gardener, located a few kilometers from our offices.
• Shipping: Plants are individually packaged in a box specially designed for easy transport. The soil is held in the pot by 2 adhesive strips located on each side of the plant, preventing the pot from tipping over. Delivery is made only by Colissimo to minimize transport time and plant stress. Plants are watered just before shipping.
• In case of a problem: If despite all our attention, the plant arrives broken, it will be replaced or refunded if the stock is sufficient to replace it.
