• Heat of Tabasco pepper: between 30,000 and 100,000 on the Scoville scale. The earlier the pepper is harvested, the milder it will be.
• Color of Tabasco peppers: They are harvested when red.
• The Tabasco pepper: It's a pepper that measures between 5 and 10 cm. Its skin is tough. It is characterized by a bell pepper taste that leans towards green olive. It is very easy to cook with and handle.
• Production: 1 Tabasco plant can produce between 30 and 100 peppers / season.
• Final size of the plant in a 30 cm diameter pot: between 60 cm and 1 meter tall
• Final size of the plant in open ground: 1 meter and more
• Plant growth temperature: 25°C
• Soil type: for planting, the ideal is a potting soil composed of black and blonde peat, if possible 50% of each, no heather soil, nor universal potting soil as it's too acidic for the pepper plant. You can add a little sand to the mixture to aerate it a bit.
• Harvest date: between June and October.
• Watering: Moderate watering, without flooding the plant, creating a slight water stress for the plant.
• Fertilizer: During growth and flowering periods, we recommend using fertilizer. We offer a special pepper fertilizer that contains all the necessary nutrients for the proper growth of pepper plants.
• Origin of the plant: All our plants come from Alsace, they are grown exclusively for us by a local market gardener, located a few km from our offices.
• Shipping: Plants are individually wrapped in a box specially designed for easy transport. The soil is held in the pot by 2 adhesive strips located on each side of the plant, preventing the plant's roots from being exposed to air. Delivery is done only by Colissimo to minimize transport time and plant stress. Plants are watered just before shipping.
• In case of a problem: If, despite all our attention, the plant arrives broken, it will be replaced or refunded if the stock is insufficient to replace it.

If you choose other products (other than plants), the entire order will be shipped at once during the month of May (depending on the size of the plants). If you wish to receive other products earlier, please place 2 separate orders.
