• Strength of the Naga Black pepper: from 500,000 to 1,000,000 on the Scoville scale.
• Color of Naga Black peppers: It is harvested brown, initially it will be green, then will take several weeks before turning red and then brown.
• The Naga Black pepper: It's a thin and long pepper that measures 4 to 8 cm in length. Its skin is thin and it has little flesh.
• Production: 1 Naga Black plant can produce between 20 and 50 peppers / season.
  
• Final size of the plant in a 30 cm diameter pot: between 50 cm and 80 cm tall
• Final size of the plant in open ground: about 80 cm.
• Growth temperature of the Naga Black plant: 25°C
• Soil type: for planting, the ideal is a potting soil composed of black and blonde peat, if possible 50% of each, no heath soil or universal potting soil as it's too acidic for the pepper plant. You can add a little sand to the mixture to aerate it a bit.
• Harvest date: between June and October.
• Watering: Moderate watering, without flooding the plant, creating a slight water stress for the plant.
• Fertilizer: During the growing and flowering period, we recommend the use of fertilizer. We offer a special pepper fertilizer that contains all the nutrients necessary for the proper growth of pepper plants.
• Origin of the plant: All our plants come from Alsace, they are grown exclusively for us by a local market gardener, located a few km from our offices.
• Shipping: The plants are individually wrapped in a box specially designed to facilitate transport. The soil is held in the pot by 2 adhesive strips located on each side of the plant, preventing the plant's roots from being exposed. Delivery is done only by Colissimo to minimize the duration of transport and stress on the plant. The plants are watered just before shipping.
• In case of a problem: If despite all our attention, the plant arrives broken, it will be replaced or refunded if the stock is insufficient.
