- Strength of the fatali pepper: between 300,000 and 500,000 on the Scoville scale. The earlier the pepper is harvested, the less spicy it will be.
- Color of fatali peppers: They are harvested yellow, initially they will be green, then will take several weeks to turn yellow.
- The fatali pepper: It's a pepper that measures between 3 and 8 cm. Its skin is thin and fragile. It is characterized by a spicy taste and is very aromatic. It's an extreme pepper to be handled with caution. The use of gloves during harvest is strongly advised.
- Production: 1 fatali plant can produce between 30 and 100 peppers / season, but they are very light.
- Final size of the plant in a 30 cm diameter pot: between 60 cm and 1 meter tall
- Final size of the plant in open ground: about 1 meter.
- Growth temperature of the fatali plant: 23°C
- Soil type: for planting, the ideal is a soil composed of black and blonde peat, if possible 50% of each, no heather soil, nor universal potting soil as it's too acidic for the pepper plant. A little sand can be added to the mixture to aerate it a bit.
- Harvest date: between August and November.
- Watering: Moderate watering, without flooding the plant, creating a slight water stress for the plant.
- Fertilizer: During growth and flowering periods, we recommend the use of fertilizer. We offer a special pepper fertilizer that contains all the necessary nutrients for the proper growth of pepper plants.
- Origin of the plant: All our plants come from Alsace, they are grown exclusively for us by a local market gardener, located a few kilometers from our offices.
- Shipping: The plants are individually wrapped in a box specially designed to facilitate transport. The soil is held in the pot by 2 adhesive strips located on each side of the plant, thus preventing the pot from tipping over. Delivery is done only by Colissimo to minimize the duration of transport and stress on the plant. The plants are watered just before shipping.
- In case of a problem: If despite all our attention, the plant arrives broken, it will be replaced or refunded if the stock is sufficient to replace it.
SHIPPING BY COLISSIMO HOME DELIVERY ONLY

The fatali pepper originates from Africa. It was the Cajohn's brand that introduced us to this pepper through their fatali pepper puree. Its bright yellow color, exotic flavor, and strength quickly made it one of our customers' favorite peppers. Additionally, it grows very well in France. It pairs well with and enhances dishes like curry, for example.
