The Carolina Reaper is easily recognizable with its small tail and wrinkled skin.
It is generally relatively small (between 3 and 6 cm in diameter). This is obviously an extreme chili pepper, and very fragrant, with notes of orange peel that envelope your palate and nose. In the yellow version, some can even detect a slight sweetness.
Its heat develops in the mouth after a few seconds, then develops for several minutes (about 20!). It's an extreme chili pepper that must be handled with caution. The use of gloves during harvest is strongly recommended.

Très bonne graine aussi 5 graines sur 10 ont germé mais le Carolina reaper est plus compliquer à faire pousser
