Apollo 2 500,000 on the Scoville scale (seasons 13 to 21 inclusive): This sauce contains an exclusive pepper, the Apollo pepper. This super-powerful pepper was created by Ed Currie, who is the creator of the world's hottest peppers. This new pepper variety is the result of crossing a Carolina Reaper pepper with a Pepper X (the two hottest peppers in the world). 

Triple X 2,000,000 SHU (seasons 10 to 12 inclusive): This hot sauce contains 3 extreme peppers: Pepper X, chocolate Pepper X, and peach Pepper X. 

 Xperience 2,693,000 SHU (from season 22 to 27 inclusive): The most powerful Hot Ones sauce made from fresh Pepper X and supercharged with Pepper X powder and Pepper X distillate (yes, all that!).

Tasting notes

These sauces highlight the pepper and we certainly felt it when we tasted them, to say the least! The only sauce that has other flavors is the Triple X because the recipe contains ginger, cumin, turmeric, mustard, and coriander.

How to enjoy Hot Ones sauces?

You can of course do as in the show and eat your sauces with nuggets, chicken wings or breaded vegetables. However, they will also go very well with other foods such as tempura, tortillas, eggs, breaded fish, etc.
