Rosalia Fire Sauce Tongue of Fire
Lengua de Fuego is a brand from Honduras (located between Belize and Costa Rica). In this recipe, they decided to respect the iconic classic hot sauce.
To create this, they used Scotch Bonnet peppers (a strong pepper with an enchanting aroma), fresh tomatoes and carrots to temper the heat of the pepper, onions for roundness on the palate, extra virgin olive oil, and thyme for an herbal touch.
There are multiple possibilities for pairings:
- on oysters
- eggs
- banh mi (Vietnamese sandwich)
- pies
- vegetables
- salt cod fritters
- falafels
And anything that needs a kick to make your taste buds water!

comme prévu

Cette sauce est relativement piquante (avec l'effet à retardement du piment Scotch Bonnet) et va avec à peu près tout. Une très bonne sauce.
