What is Tandoori Sauce?
Patak's Tandoori Marinade Paste is a traditional Indian preparation made from a blend of spices, aromatic herbs and tomato paste.
Unlike a ready-to-use sauce, this marinade paste is concentrated in flavor. Simply mix it with plain yogurt to obtain a smooth marinade that perfectly infuses meats, fish, vegetables or plant-based alternatives.
Renowned for its balance of spices, smoky notes and a slight acidity, Patak's Tandoori paste gives your recipes a characteristic red color and aromas typical of Indian cuisine.
Tasting notes
Patak's Tandoori Marinade Paste reveals a rich and balanced aromatic bouquet. From the very first bites, the warm flavors of paprika, cumin, coriander, ginger, garlic and traditional spices express themselves harmoniously.
Its concentrated texture allows for a generous coating of foods while developing a beautiful aromatic intensity during cooking. The slightly smoky notes are reminiscent of cooking in the traditional tandoor oven, while the yogurt softens the spices to deliver a flavorful, fragrant marinade accessible to all palates.
The result is tender meat, melt-in-your-mouth vegetables or a delicately seasoned fish, with authentic flavors of India.
