Tasting notes
We loved this mildly spicy sauce because it's packed with umami. The flavors of Fresno peppers combined with garlic are terribly satisfying. The brand compares this sauce to a Sriracha sauce but without sugar; it's true that the fact that this sauce is mild with a pronounced garlic taste and thick texture recalls the famous sauce. And not adding sugar is a real plus for those who want to eat healthily.
Hot Ones sauce heat level
Considered an initiation sauce as it's in first position during the Hot Ones season 24 tasting with its 1,700 on the Scoville scale. It allows you to gently ease into the spicy challenge.
How to use the Fresno sauce?
In a soup to enhance the flavors while adding a good garlic taste, on chicken, on seafood, in your sandwiches, with eggs, on ramen, vol-au-vents and pretty much all savory dishes as long as you like garlic!
The Hot Ones brand
The Hot Ones show has been creating their own sauce for 10 years now. Over the seasons, you've been able to see about twenty different hot sauces, all unique and natural.
