Tasting notes for Hot Ones Los Calientes sauce
This bottle is for you who love smoky, slightly sweet flavors. The recipe reminded us of an adobo sauce, probably thanks to the red jalapeno peppers smoked with applewood combined with apricots and tomatillos. The preparation is indulgent and particularly well seasoned, each spice is there to enchant your palate.
Spicy sauce heat level
Tasted from season 21 through 26 in Hot Ones, this hot sauce occupied 5th place in the tasting order (from mildest to hottest). With its 49,000 on the Scoville scale, it starts to seriously tickle the taste buds of guests like Selena Gomez and her husband Benny Blanco, who have particularly bright eyes after ingesting the sauce!
How to use the Rojo sauce?
On any piece of meat (originally adobo sauces were used for this purpose, the pepper prevented the proliferation of bacteria, so they coated the meat with spicy sauce). You can therefore use it as a marinade but also as your usual condiment: in a burger, burritos, with your rice, rougail, omelets... Don't hesitate to try new combinations, you might just find your perfect taste!
