Being based in Alsace, we know sauerkraut! We had high expectations, and what we can say is that this mustard and sauerkraut sauce is fabulous, nothing less. We understand why this recipe received an award in 2025.

The tangy flavor of sauerkraut fills your mouth, the mustard accompanies it wonderfully, and the pepper tickles your palate, creating a most satisfying balance.

Sauce Heat Level

This sauce appeared on Hot Ones season 27 and was measured at 51,000 on the Scoville scale. So it's strong but not extreme; it will appeal to those accustomed to heat as well as beginners looking to wake up their dishes.

The sauerkraut & mustard sauce was tasted on Hot Ones by Dakota Johnson, Jennie, Aaron Paul (he added caviar to his chicken wing coated with sauerkraut sauce and loved it xD), Owen Wilson, Kai Cenat, Macaulay Culkin, and many others!

How to use the hot sauce?

It's very simple: you can use it for your typical Polish dishes like pierogi, which are dumplings stuffed with mushrooms and cabbage, meat, potatoes and cheese. Or with kielbasa (smoked Polish sausages).

But also for your hot dogs (amazing), with your sauerkraut (of course), in sandwiches, with your charcuterie, or even directly on your vegetables.
