Lillie's sauces are highly appreciated for their perfect seasoning, their taste that makes you want to come back for more, and their syrupy texture that can perfectly fit in your burgers for example.
These Carolina Dirt rub spices will be useful for coating your beef, pork, chicken pieces before smoking them. After smoking, you'll get a nice protective spice crust that will make your meat melt-in-your-mouth tender!
However, these rub spices are also used to enhance pan-fried potatoes, spinach, fish skewers, cream cheese sauces for your tortillas, and much more.
What is a Rub?
Rubs is a mixture of spices, salts, sometimes sugar, and sometimes chili pepper designed to flavor the meat and give it color.
How to apply Lillie's Q carolina dirt rubs?
The word rubs means rubbing in French. So rubs are used by rubbing the meat with the spice blend. For a good application, just brush the piece of meat with a little oil (olive or sunflower) or mustard so that the rubs adhere well, then rub the meat while adding a little Rub. It is imperative to avoid pockets of rub that tend to burn during cooking.

When to apply Lillie's Q carolina dirt rubs
We recommend using it exclusively for pork (or on fries or sautéed potatoes because it's great!) and 15 minutes before cooking.
How much Rubs to apply?
The granulometry being relatively fine on this rub, it will spread very easily on the meat. With a 92g jar, you should be able to make 3 to 4 pulled porks.
How to store my rubs?
It should be stored in a dry place with the cap carefully closed. It will keep without problem for many months if it lasts that long!
The Lillie's Q Brand
Before being a sauce brand, Lillie's Q is a Chicago restaurant. Chef Charlie McKenna draws inspiration from Southern USA BBQ culture to create typical dishes. Brisket, pulled pork, buffalo wings, etc... He named his restaurant and sauces after his grandmother Lillie who taught him the basics of Southern cooking. We have been working with and following Lillie's Q since 2012.

Customer reviews
J'adore ce RUB pour le pull pork. Peut-être qu'un jour on aura un conditionnement plus important. En sachet par exemple.
