spicy sauce for fish n chips
You're certainly familiar with FISH 'N' CHIPS, this English dish with an unchanged recipe that has been devoured for over 150 years (yes, indeed!).
When you combine the heat of spicy sauces with the crunchiness of the batter and the tender softness of the fish, the mixture is striking!
The Simple Recipe for Fish 'N' Chips
The traditional Fish and Chips recipe is very quick to execute, simple and effective, it often helps to get children (and big children too, yes) to eat fish.
To do this, you will need:
- 2 eggs
- 1 glass of beer of your choice (be careful, each beer is different!)
- 1 cup of flour
- 4 fish fillets
- fries
- your spicy sauce (we'll help you choose just below!)
Start by mixing the flour and beer, then incorporate the egg yolks.
Beat the egg whites until stiff and gently fold them into your mixture.
Dip your fish fillets in the fish and chips batter (the more generous you are, the crispier they'll be!), and fry them for 3-4 minutes (they should have a nice golden color).
Finally, add your fries (Belgian, duck fat, thick, thin, with skin, it doesn't matter as long as you pair them with your favorites!), and a few drops (or glugs for the more extreme) of spicy sauce, which one?
We offer you a small selection below:
