Discover the world's hottest chili pepper

whole dried carolina reaper pepper

Certified by the Guinness Book of Records in 2013, the Carolina Reaper pepper has become the hottest chili pepper in the world. Ed Currie grows it in South Carolina. Its shape is between the habanero pepper and the jolokia pepper. It is very fragrant but must be used with caution. You can rehydrate the pepper or use it dry.

It is important to be careful when dosing, this is a really extreme chili pepper and we recommend handling it with gloves (or be very careful not to touch your face).
