Kewpie Mayonnaise

Famous Kewpie mayonnaise is a Japanese culinary staple. Creamier and richer than traditional mayonnaise, it adds a smooth texture and delightful richness to your dishes.

It is perfect for making Japanese sauces, accompanying sushi and maki, filling Japanese sandwiches, or preparing delicious okonomiyaki. It also works wonderfully with fries, burgers, salads, and grilled vegetables.

Kingzest wasabi-flavored horseradish paste

Enjoy the distinctive flavor of Japanese wasabi with this Kingzest wasabi-flavored horseradish paste. Its fresh, spicy kick is ideal for complementing Japanese specialties.

Use with sushi, sashimi, maki, and raw fish, or to spice up sauces, mayonnaise, and marinades. A small amount is all it takes to bring vibrant heat to your dishes.

Yamasa Soy Sauce

Authentic Japanese cooking is unthinkable without soy sauce. Yamasa soy sauce is an essential condiment that adds depth, salinity, and umami to your recipes.

It pairs naturally with sushi and sashimi, but can also be used in marinades, stir-fries, noodles, fried rice, vegetables, or broths. Just a few drops are enough to add rich character to your dishes.

Wan Ja Shan BBQ Sauce

Wan Ja Shan BBQ sauce brings a rich, savory flavor to your dishes. It can be used as a dipping sauce or as a marinade to caramelize and elevate meats, poultry, vegetables, and grilled recipes.

It's especially great for making Asian-inspired recipes at home and adding variety to your barbecue, wok, or griddle cooking.

Eaglobe Sriracha Sauce

For fans of bold heat, Eaglobe Sriracha sauce delivers a spicy, slightly sweet kick packed with character. This iconic Asian condiment is perfect for instantly boosting many dishes.

Add it to your noodles, rice, ramen, meat, shrimp, vegetables, or homemade sauces. It also pairs perfectly with Kewpie mayonnaise to make a spicy mayo sauce that's great with sushi, burgers, and Asian dishes.

Japanese crispy chicken, spicy BBQ & Kewpie

Serves 2 to 3

Ingredients:

  • 400 g chicken (breast fillets or thighs)
  • 3 tbsp Wan Ja Shan BBQ sauce
  • 1 tbsp Yamasa soy sauce
  • 1 to 2 tsp Eaglobe Sriracha
  • 2 tbsp Kewpie mayonnaise
  • 1 small dab Kingzest wasabi paste
  • 80 g cornstarch
  • 1 egg
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
  • Cooking oil
  • Sesame seeds
  • Sliced scallions

Instructions:

  1. Prep the chicken
Cut the chicken into evenly sized pieces. Toss with the Yamasa soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. Let marinate for about 20 minutes.
  2. Crisp the chicken
Dip the chicken pieces in the beaten egg, then coat thoroughly in cornstarch.
  3. Brown the chicken
Heat a thin layer of oil in a skillet and cook the chicken until golden brown and extra crispy.
  4. Make the spicy BBQ sauce
Mix the Wan Ja Shan BBQ sauce with the Eaglobe Sriracha. Add a splash of soy sauce if you want to enhance depth and umami.
  5. Coat the chicken
Add the crispy chicken to the skillet with the sauce and toss quickly to coat every piece evenly without losing all the crispiness.
  6. Make the Kewpie-wasabi sauce
Mix the Kewpie mayonnaise with a small dab of Kingzest wasabi paste. Adjust the amount of wasabi to your desired heat level.
  7. Serve
Place the chicken in a bowl, drizzle with the wasabi mayonnaise, and garnish with sesame seeds and scallions.

Tasty tip: serve this chicken with Japanese rice and some crunchy vegetables. You'll get a complete dish combining crispiness, sweetness, umami, and a wonderful spicy kick.
