Bibimbap sauce with Tantanxiang chili
What is Bibimbap?
The first written records of this emblematic dish date back to the 15th century in South Korea.
Traditional Bibimbap should include a rice base and at least 5 ingredients on top:
cucumber, carrot, beef, cabbage, bean sprouts, kimchi, and an egg on top.
Buddhist monks eat it in a vegetarian version. It is customary to think about the benefits of each ingredient that makes up the dish, as it is indeed a very healthy meal.
How to use this Bibimbap sauce?
Once your Bibimbap is ready, simply add a spoonful (or more if you want it spicier) to the bowl and mix well.
The goal of a Bibimbap is to evenly mix all the ingredients in your bowl until they form a ball.
This sauce is made from Cayenne pepper and soy sauce, so you can add it to your salads, rice, pasta, and anything else you like.
